Resumen:

Cruzando el desierto es un acercamiento al fenómeno migratorio del estado de Sonora desde el punto de vista demográfico. Se detectaba a migrantes que, en grupos de veinte, treinta y hasta cincuenta personas, en su mayoría hombres, llegaban en vuelos procedentes del sur del país y eran interceptados por taxistas que se ofrecían para llevarlos por vía terrestre a la frontera.

Abstract:

Traversing the desert is an approach to the phenomenon of migration in the State of Sonora from a demographic standpoint. It was detected that migrants in groups of twenty, thirty and up to fifty people, mostly men, arrived by plane from the south of the country and were intercepted by taxi drivers who offered to take them over land to the border.
