Resumen:

En este documento se formulan una serie de hipótesis sobre las causas y el significado de la última modernización de la industria minera regional. Hace referencia al impasse mayor de treinta años en la minería sonorense, luego de la crisis de 1929; las repercusiones de la Ley de Mexicanización de la Minería, de 1961, y el resurgimiento y modernización tecnológica.

Abstract:

This document puts forward a series of hypotheses on the causes and meaning of the latest modernization of the regional mining industry. It refers to the longest impasse of mining in Sonora in thirty years, after the 1929 crisis, the repercussions of the 1961 Law on the Nationalization of Mining and its resurgence and technological modernization.
