Resumen:

En esta obra se aborda el tema de la calidad del empleo en la industria maquiladora de Nogales, Sonora, durante 2008 y la influencia que ésta ejerce en la calidad de vida de quienes ahí laboran. Se acude al análisis estadístico descriptivo de las características sociodemográficas de los empleados y de cómo éstos perciben su vida y su entorno.

Abstract:

This work deals with the quality of employment in maquila industry in Nogales, Sonora, over 2008 and the influence this exerts on the quality of life of those who work there. The study resorts to the descriptive statistical analysis of the employees’ sociodemographic characteristics and how these perceive their life and surroundings.
